Location: Gloucester Business Park (Hybrid Working)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 37 Hours

This role is for a Project Support Officer (PSO) to provide administrative support and project coordination within the Mechanical Equipment Group at EDF Nuclear Services (NS). The position supports the delivery of EDF's Pressurised Water Reactor projects such as Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C (SZC). Engineering is responsible for fulfilling the Licensee's 'Intelligent Customer' responsibilities by overseeing design and supply chain activities, ensuring safety case requirements are met throughout all project phases.

The PSO will work under the supervision of the Team Leader, engaging with staff and project teams from client licensees (e.g., HPC, SZC). Some UK business travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform administrative duties related to risk logs, budget control, HR, and contract communications.
  • Assist in maintaining procedures, learning reports, and work plans.
  • Coordinate and prepare project meetings, jobs, and tasks.
  • Manage HPC and SZC contract distribution tables under supervision using Teamcenter.
  • Provide administrative support to Macro-Activity Leads.
  • Generate periodic reports on team performance metrics, including documentation backlog, assessment findings, exemption requests, non-conformance reports, and safety case papers.
  • Conduct regular checks in TeamCenter to ensure documentation consistency in Design Package Release Notes.
Qualifications & Experience
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent academic qualifications, with strong numeracy and English skills.
  • Two to three years experience in similar project support roles.
  • Experience with quality management systems is desirable.
  • Familiarity with TeamCenter and PowerBI or similar tools is desirable.

  • Excellent data management, communication, and IT skills.
  • Ability to verify information and articulate requirements clearly.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail to produce high-quality work.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
