Job summary

Sulzer Leeds is seeking a Project Scheduler to join our Planning & Scheduling team. You will develop and maintain schedules for engineer-to-order projects, collaborating with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement and Manufacturing to keep delivery on track.

This site-based role offers flexible working with ad-hoc home working where appropriate and a 37-hour week, enabling you to grow within a global engineering leader.

Qualifications

• Experience in project scheduling, planning or project controls.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Experience within engineering, manufacturing or project-based industries.
• Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
• Ability to build strong working relationships across multiple teams.
• A proactive approach and the confidence to challenge and influence when required.
• Experience within engineer-to-order manufacturing, heavy engineering or rotating equipment industries would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules across complex engineer-to-order projects.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Procurement and Manufacturing teams to keep projects on track.
• Identify risks early and ensure progress remains on schedule.
• Provide confidence to customers and internal stakeholders through clear scheduling and communication.
