The Defence Infrastructure Cost Centre supports projects of varying complexity and size, offering services such as Programme and Project Management, Cost Engineering, Risk Management, and more. We assist throughout the full project lifecycle, delivering infrastructure projects ranging from hundreds of thousands to over £200M.
We are expanding our team due to client needs and seek talented individuals to support our Defence client portfolio, working on complex and challenging projects.
Important: Due to the sensitive nature of these projects, applicants must be SOLE UK Nationals capable of obtaining and maintaining UK MoD Security Clearance (SC). Existing SC clearance is desirable but not mandatory.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk Professional to join the Defence North team, supporting project risk management across construction infrastructure projects in the UK, from the Midlands to Scotland, with opportunities across the UK. The team is based mainly in Manchester, with members across the North of the UK.
This role requires experience in project or programme environments within Defence, Nuclear, Infrastructure, or Construction sectors. Knowledge of Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) is advantageous.
The role involves working closely with clients, managing engagements, and exceeding expectations. Up to 60% of the time may be spent on client sites or in Turner & Townsend offices, with flexibility based on business needs.
