Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of planned maintenance and refurbishment works for social housing in the West Midlands. Based in Walsall and surrounding areas, you will own the commercial aspects on a long-term contract and build strong client relationships with the supply chain to maximise value.

The role involves overseeing subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations and final accounts, as well as managing costs and contractual

Qualifications

Experience in social housing, planned maintenance, refurbishment or property services.
Ability to manage subcontractor accounts, valuations, variations and final accounts.
Knowledge of JCT contracts and contract administration.
Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Manage commercial delivery of planned maintenance and refurbishment projects.
Oversee subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.
Monitor project costs, performance and contractual obligations.
Collaborate with operations, clients and supply chain partners to deliver works.
Provide commercial advice to support ongoing programmes.
