Skilled Careers is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial delivery of social housing planned maintenance programmes in Birmingham for a leading property services contractor.

You will handle cost control, forecasts, valuations, CVRs and final accounts across multiple workstreams, while building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Formación

• Experience in social housing planned works and planned maintenance.
• Experience with kitchens, bathrooms, roofing and external refurbishment programmes.
• Strong commercial management skills including cost control, forecasting, valuations, CVRs and final accounts.
• Client-facing with ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Qualifications such as HNC/HND or Degree in QS or related discipline desirable.
• Experience with JCT and NEC contracts.
• Experience with Tier 1 contractors or social housing maintenance.
• Multi-project experience managing several workstreams.
• Strong stakeholder management in high-profile client environments.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the commercial delivery of planned maintenance projects from mobilisation through to final account across North Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.
• Control project costs, including budgets, forecasts, cost plans, valuations and monthly financial reporting.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, including tendering, negotiation, contract administration and ongoing commercial performance.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities while maintaining strong cost control and contractual compliance across each programme.
• Build client and stakeholder relationships, providing clear commercial reporting and supporting operational teams to deliver projects successfully.
