Job summary

Anderselite in Scarborough is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor for a leading Tier 1 main contractor, involved in healthcare and public-sector schemes across Yorkshire. Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Project Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management.
• Experience managing procurement, subcontractors, valuations and final accounts.
• Ideally, experience across healthcare, hospitals or other complex public-sector projects.
• Education, BTR/residential, prisons or similar building-sector experience will also be considered
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge; no infra/civils background.
• Housebuilding-only experience will not be suitable.
• Full UK driving licence

I'm working with a leading Tier 1 main contractor on a permanent Project Quantity Surveyor opportunity in Scarborough. The business has a strong pipeline of complex construction projects across Yorkshire, with a particular focus on healthcare and public-sector schemes. The role

• Managing the commercial performance of live construction projects

• Managing variations, change and commercial risk
• Subcontract and main contract administration
• Working closely with the project delivery team to maximise commercial performance

What we are looking for
