Project Quantity Surveyor | Commercial | Real Estate

Location: Edinburgh

Salary: £38,000 - £52,000

What We Need From You

• Pre & post-contract experience
• Demonstrable cost management experience in a consultancy
• Strong cost estimating and planning skills
• Cohesive knowledge of construction methods
• Practical knowledge of procurement strategies, tendering, and contracts
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Methodical approach to work
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, finance, and numeracy skills
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Cost X experience is desirable

Key Responsibilities

• Autonomous cost management throughout project lifecycle
• Client engagement and relationship building
• Developing accurate cost estimates and budgets
• Performing cost analyses and risk assessments
• Providing high-quality service delivery
• Implementing procurement strategies
• Advising on contract selection
• Managing tenders and evaluating submissions
• Financial reporting and cash flow management
• Valuation and payment coordination
• Final account settlement upon project completion
