Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Quality Manager in Projects to join our Rail Infrastructure quality team in the UK. Based in Chippenham, Coventry or York, you will act as an expert supporting the Project Delivery team, driving customer value, quality improvement, project excellence and innovation.

You’ll define and implement the QM system, monitor KPIs, support continuous improvement across all project phases, including supplier quality and audits.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent; Lead Auditor ISO 9001 is preferred.
• Experience as Quality Manager in projects or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/45001/14001/27001 and lean methods.
• Strong communication, stakeholder influence and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the QM system within the portfolio and support planning.
• Design and monitor quality plans with targets and KPIs.
• Manage quality incidents (QCCs) and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Monitor supplier quality status, risks and KPIs; advise senior leadership.
• Coordinate continuous improvement actions across all project phases.
• Plan and ensure appropriate quality in the project supply chain.
