Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is recruiting a Project Quality Manager for the ANTC Project, part of National Grid's Great Grid Upgrade. You will embed a culture of quality across the project lifecycle and work with multidisciplinary teams to drive right-first-time delivery.

You'll provide leadership across Substation and OHL scopes, support continuous improvement, and develop the quality function as the team grows. Location: Bury St Edmunds, with transition to Chelmsford later.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality management on large infrastructure projects is desirable.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Embed a culture of quality across the project lifecycle.
• Influence quality performance across nationally significant infrastructure works.
• Provide leadership and direction across Substation and OHL scopes.
• Drive right-first-time delivery with multidisciplinary teams.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and share best practice.
• Support growth and development of the quality function, including QA engineers.
