Job summary

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree with extensive EPC QA/QC management.
  • ISO 9000 standards knowledge; ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
  • Experience leading QMS and supplier quality.
  • Proven EPC QA leadership and stakeholder influence.
  • Aramco EPC project approval/experience.
  • Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the QMS across projects.
  • Monitor and report project quality performance; drive improvements.
  • Manage audits; ensure ISO and client standards compliance.
  • Provide quality inputs for estimation, proposals, and start-up.
  • Review and approve project quality plans and procedures.
  • Oversee QA checks on engineering designs before client issue.
  • Mentor QA team; support recruitment and capability building.
  • Manage non-conformance, root cause analysis, and CAPAs.

Location and Working Pattern

We’re looking for an experienced Project QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and control on large-scale energy projects for a globally recognised engineering organisation. This strategic leadership role begins in the UK, providing long-term planning and project development based out of Woking, and will then transition to Saudi Arabia for on-site project execution during later phases. Ideal for professionals with strong EPC experience, ISO knowledge, and a proven track record in stakeholder engagement, this role provides an opportunity to influence major projects and drive quality excellence across international operations.

Initial Phase: Woking, United Kingdom (long-term assignment 12- 18 Months)

Execution Phase: Saudi Arabia (site-based during project delivery)

Travel to engineering and project sites will be required throughout the role.

  • Mentor and develop quality team members, supporting recruitment and capability building.
  • Manage non-conformance control, root cause analysis, and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
Must-have Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering with extensive EPC QA/QC management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO9000 series standards with ISO9001 Lead Auditor certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading Quality Management Systems and supplier quality practices.
  • Proven track record managing quality in large EPC projects and ability to influence at all levels.
  • Approval and experience within Aramco EPC projects.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Nice-to-have Skills
  • Certification in root cause analysis (RCA) investigations.
  • Knowledge of Aramco-specific processes and EPC project requirements.
  • Strong data analysis skills and understanding of quality KPIs.
