Job summary

PPI Quality & Engineering is seeking a Project QA/QC Manager to lead the quality function on a major energy project with a leading international EPC contractor. The role ensures compliance with client and international quality requirements throughout the lifecycle.

Based in South East England initially, the assignment transitions to Saudi Arabia; it involves coordinating audits, developing quality strategies and mentoring the quality team to deliver robust, verifiable results.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Supplier Quality Management experience.
• Experience leading multicultural project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and continual improvement of the Project Quality Management System.
• Chair management review meetings and report quality performance.
• Develop quality strategies, KPIs and improvement initiatives.
• Support recruitment, mentoring and development of quality personnel.
• Review and approve Project Quality Plans and procedures.
• Lead internal, supplier and certification audits.
• Ensure engineering deliverables comply with quality requirements before issue.
• Manage NCRs, root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
• Support project start-up, execution and lessons learned.

Role Purpose

Provide leadership and governance for the Project Quality Management System (QMS), drive continual improvement, oversee audits and ensure quality objectives are achieved.
