Job summary

Spacetech International seeks an experienced procurement professional to lead end-to-end sourcing for space projects. You will interface between the project office, engineering, and the global supply chain to ensure timely, on-budget delivery of high-quality components for space flight.

The role requires 5+ years in aerospace procurement, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams including Project Office, Engineering, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in procurement, aerospace, defence or high-tech sectors.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full end-to-end procurement cycle for major space projects.

• Manage NDAs, SLAs, RFQ, and RFP processes.
• Conduct robust negotiations to secure terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external procurement procedures and policies.
• Provide clear reporting on procurement status, issues, and deliverables to leadership.
• Collaborate with Engineering to support component needs during design and proposals.

Job description

You will be embedded within a dedicated project team, acting as the key interface between the project office, engineering, and the global supply chain. Your expertise will ensure that all required units are acquired on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards required for space flight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full end-to-end procurement cycle for a major space projects.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans that align with project timelines and objectives.
• Identify, qualify, and onboard new high-technology suppliers for critical components.
• Manage NDAs, SLAs, RFQ, RFPs
• Conduct robust negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure strict compliance with all internal and external procurement procedures and policies.
• Maintain clear, transparent reporting on procurement status, issues, and deliverables to the project leadership.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering teams to support component needs during the design and proposal phases.

Who We're Looking For...

The ideal candidate will have significant engineering procurement experience, ideally from a satellite / space industry background and thus will be familiar with the market landscape and key clients, suppliers and institutions - ESA / UKSA - and compliance considerations pertaining to these. you will be an excellent communicator, organised and diligent.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a strong preference for experience within the aerospace, defence, or high-tech manufacturing sectors.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and drive performance improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams (Project Office, Engineering, Finance).
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach to managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
