To help us make this happen, we are looking for a Project Procurement Manager to join our team, managing all procurement aspects of projects in fields such as H2, CCUS, and Battery Storage.

The successful candidate will enjoy significant flexibility. The role requires travel according to project requirements, but we are able to consider candidates throughout the UK and offer a Home Based contract. Come and join #TeamRWE and make your mark in the energy transition!

Key Responsibilities
  1. Optimise supply chain measures for worldwide and innovative projects in the development, construction, and/or operational phases.
  2. Develop and execute sourcing, assessment, negotiation, and contract strategies and terms to suit project activities.
  3. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of supply chain in identified market sectors.
  4. Lead highly complex negotiations with external suppliers and represent RWETI in meetings/negotiations with senior stakeholders.
  5. Optimize the price vs performance ratio and leverage market synergies.
  6. Manage claims and deviations throughout the project execution phase.
  7. Ensure that commercial project issues are addressed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Knowledge & Skills
  1. MCIPS (or working towards), or a relevant business or engineering degree is desirable.
  2. Significant experience in construction/infrastructure or complex procurement projects.
  3. Proven skills in complex CAPEX & OPEX negotiations.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills, capable of operating under tight timescales with minimal guidance, and effective communication at all levels.
  5. Ability to influence and manage across multiple international cultures and a diverse portfolio.
  6. Ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
  7. International orientation, flexibility, and willingness to travel.
  8. Business fluency in English.
