Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is seeking a Project Planner to develop, manage, and monitor construction programmes across residential, commercial, healthcare and education projects.

You will identify critical paths, risks, and constraints, monitor milestones, and provide progress reports to management while supporting tender planning and scheduling activities.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Degree in Construction Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' planning experience in construction or MEP environments.
• Proficient in Asta Powerproject or similar planning software.
• Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Project Planner

Location: Banbridge, Co. Down
Salary: Competitive DOE
Hours: Mon-Thu 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-3pm

The Role

A leading construction and building services contractor is seeking a Project Planner to develop, manage and monitor project programmes across a range of residential, commercial, healthcare and education projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain construction, procurement and commissioning programmes.
• Identify critical paths, risks and project constraints.
• Monitor progress against programme milestones and provide reports to management.
• Assess programme changes, delays and recovery plans.
• Conduct site visits and work closely with project teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Support tender planning activities and project scheduling.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors throughout project lifecycles.

Essential Criteria

• HNC/HND or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' planning experience within construction or MEP environments.
• Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles.
• Proficient in Asta Powerproject.
• Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills.

Desirable

• Experience with MEP installations.
• Knowledge of delay analysis and EOT processes.
• Experience using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
