Job summary

NUVIA UK is seeking a Project Planner in Glasgow to develop and maintain integrated infrastructure plans across site director areas. The role is hybrid, with data collation, schedule management and stakeholder engagement forming core duties.

You will manage monthly plans, analyse risks and interdependencies, and ensure alignment with the strategic plan. Prior experience with Primavera P6 and MS Office is required, with clear communication across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Primavera (P6) knowledge is essential.
• Ability to develop programmes with the project team on own initiative.
• Experience planning across all project lifecycle stages.

Responsibilities

• Collate data from multiple sources into P6 resource-loaded schedules.
• Develop and manage site director Primavera P6 plans.
• Analyse and report discrepancies, risks, issues and opportunities.
• Maintain monthly integrated infra plan for strategic view.
• Demonstrate cause/effect and run mitigation scenarios.
• Collaborate with NC, project managers and stakeholders for a single truth.
• Engage with Engineering and Compliance groups to map tasks.
• Communicate effectively across the site.
• Produce monthly progress/change/cause-and-effect reports.
• Submit infraintegrated plan into strategic plan monthly.

The Planner role is responsible for developing and maintaining integrated Infra plans for each Site Director area within the site. It draws together key milestones; critical dates and interdependencies between stakeholders and Operational plans/programmes.

Tasks

• Collate data from multiple sources to integration into required P6 Resource loaded schedules.
• Extensive KSH engagement over cross-organisational boundaries.
• Develop and manage individual Site Director’s Primavera P6 plans as required.
• Analyse, challenge and report discrepancies, risks, issues and opportunities within the integrated plans to ensure timely mitigation and VFM solutions.
• Develop and manage a monthly integrated infra plan to provide an overall strategic picture.
• Demonstrate cause and effect and run mitigation scenarios as required
• Work with NC, Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure one version of the truth which is robust and realistic.
• Engage with Engineering and Compliance groups and be able to identify their tasks and how they interact.
• Communicate effectively across the whole site.
• Compile monthly reports on progress, change, cause and effect and mitigation measures.
• Submit Infra integrated plan into strategic plan on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and robustness.

Position Requirements

Essential:

• Primavera (P6) knowledge.
• Ability to work on own initiative to develop programmes with the Project Team.
• Experienced in planning across all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Experienced in monthly programme updating and reporting.
• Experienced in the monthly review and assessment of supplier schedules.
• Good understanding of risk and opportunity management with reference to planning & programming.
• Experience of working in a client environment.
• Able to communicate professionally and effectively with a variety of Stakeholders.
• Good commercial awareness.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular; Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Able to gain Security Clearance.

Desirable:

• Working within an operational environment.
• Working in a secure environment.
• construction/implementation experience.
• Ideally 4-5 years’ experience.
• Experience of managing schedules on NEC Projects, preferrable.
• Experience of working on projects with integrated programmes

Qualifications

Essential:

• Primavera P6 practitioner.

• NEC3/4 experience.
• Project management qualifications.
• Risk management.
