Job summary

Warwickshire County Council's Adult Skills Team is hiring to support delivery of skills programmes that help adults access learning, training and employment opportunities. You will manage project and contract administration, monitor performance, handle financial processing, engage stakeholders and coordinate governance activities.

You will work with delivery partners, funders and colleagues to ensure projects are compliant and deliver intended outcomes.

Job description

This is an excellent opportunity to join Warwickshire County Council's Adult Skills Team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of skills programmes that help adults access learning, training and employment opportunities. The role involves project and contract administration, performance monitoring, financial processing, stakeholder engagement, audit support, and the coordination of governance activities. You'll work closely with delivery partners, funders and colleagues to ensure projects are effectively managed, compliant, and achieve their intended outcomes. We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with strong communication, IT, financial and analytical skills, who can manage multiple priorities and contribute to the development and delivery of impactful Adult Skills initiatives.

The post is based at the Warwickshire Skills Hub in Nuneaton, with county wide travel and visits to neighbouring authorities are anticipated., The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
