Job Description

Due to growth and ongoing success with our clients, we are seeking Project Managers to support our clients in delivering a wide range of high-profile infrastructure projects across London and the South-East. As part of our expanding team, you will help deliver complex projects and programmes, primarily based in our London office, with a hybrid working pattern depending on client needs.

Project Managers at Turner & Townsend:

Our Project Managers work on diverse projects in sectors such as Aviation, Roads, Rail, Telecommunications, Utilities, and more. We are looking for candidates with the following skills, experience, and attributes:

• Experience in infrastructure project and/or programme management across the project lifecycle, including project management principles, client objectives, contract management, leadership, teamwork, financial management, project controls, health, safety, quality, and environmental management.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, capable of working with diverse personalities and building trusted long-term relationships with clients.
• Problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills, with the ability to understand complex issues and develop workable solutions.
• Drive and commitment to achieving solutions, with the ability to work under pressure and motivate others.
• Excellent planning, communication, and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple work streams and engaging effectively with senior client representatives.
• Ability to lead, manage, and develop project teams or work streams within larger projects or programmes.
• Creative, curious, and possessing a growth mindset.

Qualifications

Beneficial experience:

• Experience managing utilities/water infrastructure projects.
• Experience with procurement and NEC contracts.
• Experience managing contractors, consultants, and advisors on infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with public sector organizations relevant to infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

• Degree or HND in management, construction, or infrastructure-related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Professional affiliation or near-qualified status with APM, ICE, CIWEM, or similar.
• Project management certifications (APM, PRINCE2, MSP).
• NEC PM Accreditations or qualifications.
