Job summary

Interlink is seeking an exceptional Project Manager to oversee Volunteering Programmes, leading partnerships and networks across RCT. You will be responsible for coordinating activities, facilitating collaboration, and line-managing the Volunteering Officer within the Community Advice Team.

The role requires a relevant degree and at least five years’ experience in leading projects, with strong communication and relationship-building skills to engage diverse partners and communities.

Qualifications

• You will have a relevant degree or higher-level qualification and at least 5 years’ experience of leading/managing projects.
• You will be proactive, solution-focused and able to work independently.
• You will be skilled in building positive relationships with colleagues, partners and groups.
• You will be a confident communicator able to engage, influence and gain commitment from groups and partners.
• You will line-manage the Volunteering Officer (Community Advice Team).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and coordinate partnership projects and networks including the RCT Trail Blazers programme.
• Coordinate the RCT Volunteering Network and Volunteers Week activities.
• Lead and supervise the Volunteering Officer and ensure program milestones are met.

Job description

Interlink is looking for an exceptional and dynamic Project Manager covering Volunteering Programmes. You will be confident in your leadership, facilitation and line management skills.

• Salary: NJC SCP 23, £34,434 (£35,570) to 24, £35,412 (£36,581) after completion of a probationary period. Pro-rata for part-time hours. Inflationary pay award pending (figures in brackets).
• Hours: 30 or 37 hours per week
• Contract: 18 months (continuation will be subject to funding).
• Location: Working remotely and in community venues in RCT. Interlink has an office base in Pontypridd.
