Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an Installation Project Manager in Barnstaple, Devon, to lead heat pump installation projects across the South West. You will split time between office and site, managing delivery from start to finish with a focus on safety, quality and on-time completion.

The role offers full heat pump training and tickets (SMSTS/IPAS), plus development opportunities and long-term progression within a family-run, growing specialist installer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget with quality standards.
• Projects across domestic and small commercial sites (£5k–£125k).
• Training on heat pumps will be provided.

Are you a Project Manager from an HVAC background looking to step into the renewable heating sector, with full heat pump training and the chance to take real ownership of installations across the South West?

Do you want to join a close-knit, family-run business where you will work directly alongside the Technical Director and play a key part in the company's growth?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join an MCS accredited specialist installer, in a role that will develop your technical knowledge across air source, air-to-air and ground source heat pump projects, while giving you responsibility to drive programmes, quality and safe delivery from start to finish.

Due to continued growth and ongoing demand, they are now looking to add an Installation Project Manager to support the Technical Director and help bring further structure and stability to project delivery.

In this role you will plan, coordinate and manage heat pump installations across Devon (with projects also covering Cornwall, Somerset and Bristol). You will split your time between the office and site, supporting the installation team and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget across domestic and small commercial work (typically £5k - £125k).

The Person:

• Project Manager / Contracts Manager / similar, with an HVAC background


• Knowledge of CDM and a strong focus on safe delivery
