Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Project Manager to join the Buildings Division in London. You will lead project delivery from inception through completion, coordinating a multidisciplinary team and maintaining budgets, programmes and QA processes.

You will build strong client relationships, manage sub-consultants, and contribute to bid proposals. Ramboll offers flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional growth in a global design consultancy.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC/HND in Building/Civil Engineering/Project Management or related field, however a degree is preferred.
• Experience managing the design and construction process – planning, programming, fee management, understanding appointments and scopes of works, change control.
• Preferably a member or associate member of an appropriate construction focused association (APM / ICE) or work towards qualifications within a reasonable timeframe.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, including CDM Regulations; training will be provided.
• Experience of managing commercial processes on projects.
• Experience of managing your own workload within a multidisciplinary consultancy.
• Understanding procurement methods and contract administration requirements (NEC, JCT, ACE, ICE, GC Works or FIDIC); training provided.
• Excellent communication and IT skills are essential to fulfil this position.
• Ability to write high quality reports and confidently represent Ramboll at client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of projects from inception to completion with scope, contracts, programmes, change management, risk registers, budgets and QA procedures.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary design consultancy team.
• Leading design workshops and project meetings.
• Develop positive and collaborative relationships with project team, clients and contractors.
• Represent the Client’s interests and provide a professional, cost-effective service.
• Manage sub-consultants as required (specialist designers, quantity surveyors, architects).
• Oversee day-to-day management including Monthly Reports, Minutes and Programmes, and delivery of presentations as needed.
• Ensure coordinated, high-quality deliverables from multidisciplinary teams.
• Support bid teams and preparation of proposals for multi-disciplinary tenders.
