Job summary

Map Talent Group is supporting a leading main contractor to appoint a Project Manager for a major student accommodation development in Bath. The project is high-profile, multi-building and will deliver 1050 bedspaces with a strong focus on sustainability and quality, aligning with Passivhaus-inspired design and a programme through to 2028.

You will lead day-to-day delivery, coordinate site teams, subcontractors and design and commercial teams, influence programme and safety standards, and

Qualifications

• Experienced Project Manager with a background in main contracting.
• Experience delivering large, complex building schemes.
• Experience in residential or student accommodation projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of project delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, to the required quality and within budget.
• Leading and coordinating site teams, subcontractors and consultants to maintain progress across the development.
• Managing the construction programme, identifying potential delays early and putting plans in place to keep things on track.
• Working closely with the commercial and design teams to resolve issues and make sure decisions are made at the right time.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality assurance and environmental performance.
• Building strong relationships with the client and wider project team, keeping communication clear and issues dealt with proactively.
• Monitoring progress, managing risk and reporting on performance throughout the project.
