Job summary

NG Bailey IT Services is seeking a Project Manager for a Structured Cabling project in Faslane, Scotland. This onsite role involves delivering projects safely, on time, and to budget while coordinating with safety, design and commercial teams across the North of the UK.

The ideal candidate will have proven Structured Cabling/Datacoms project delivery experience, PM certification, and strong leadership and financial acumen. Driving licence and security clearance are required.

Faslane, Scotland (onsite with travel to the North of the UK)

Summary

We'reseeking a Project Manager to join our teamleading exciting projects. As the Project Manager, you willbe responsible forthesuccessfuloperational delivery of projects, inclusive of the health and safety, technical, commercial,financialand managerial requirements, from bid, pre-commencement to practical completion.

You'llensure that profitability ismaintainedor improved through effective leadership & high-quality customer service and interface with relevant support functionsallocated to the project, e.g. Safety, Design, planning, financial & commercial.

Some of the key deliverables for the role include:

• Demonstrate outstanding Health and Safety leadership, ensuring that the safetyfirst and foremostmessage is visible and alive throughout all activities carried out.
• Ensure adherence to all NG Bailey's policies, processesand procedures
• Ensure under direction, all works comply withNG Bailey IT Services Company standards and to meet and exceed client expectations, as well as the requirements to meet/exceed international standards and manufacturers installation guideline systems.
• Provide leadership for the project delivery team and to maximise the potential of the team and the individuals within the team.
• Participatein bid activities and to work in conjunction with the work winning team and in line with our focus win processes.
• Provide input in the preparation of the business plans and budgets accurately based on the initialcontract parameters andobjectives. Seeking opportunities to provide actions which maximises profit on the project. Continue tomonitorthe profitability
• Provideappropriate inputto all monthly reviews in line with the business procedures to ensure that the senior management have full knowledge of the completion and financial status of the project until completion.
• Manage all related activities to the successful completion of the projects in line with agreed quality and programme plans to achieve set targets.
• Ensure that positive relationships are maintainedwith the customer through efficient delivery of projects with a view to optimising future opportunities and profitability.
• Ensuring design and installation meets internal and client specifications and statutory requirements

Whatwe'relooking for

• Provenexperience in the Structured Cabling and Datacoms
• Solid experience of successful project delivery experience
• Previousexperience inProject Management
• Proven coordination of construction services experience in a construction environment
• Design capabilities and the ability to understand specifications and drawings
• Commercial & Financial awareness
• Reporting, including Line Management
• Data Centre Buildsideally
• Civilsexperience ideally
• Electrical Knowledgeideally
• Microsoft suite andSmart Sheets

Please note we willrequire:

• Security Clearance or the eligibility to obtain clearance
• Driving Licence
• CSCS/ ECS Card in appropriate trade / grade
• Project Management Certification, APM, CTPM or Prince 2
