Job summary

Hall & Kay, based in Swinton, seeks a Project Manager to deliver sprinkler and fire protection projects remotely. You will lead initiation, coordinate design and QS, and ensure projects meet customer and regulatory requirements.

The role requires knowledge of BS EN 12845, LPS1048, Prince2, and SMSTS/CSCS, with experience in large-budget construction. You will produce RAMs, Quality Plans, and project trackers while maintaining client communications.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of BS EN 12845 & LPS1048 Schemes.
• Familiarity with Prince 2 project management methodologies.
• Experience managing complex, large-budget projects in construction.
• SMSTS & CSCS card holder or equivalent.
• Knowledge of RAMs, Quality Plans, Project Plans and cost trackers.

Responsibilities

• Lead project initiation and handover meetings with stakeholders.
• Produce and maintain project programme and cost-to-complete data.
• Communicate with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain central project file records and end-of-project documentation (O&M, As-Fitted Drawings, Certifications).
• Ensure installers are briefed and competent to fulfill requirements.
• Manage on-site resources, track costs, and identify variances.
• Support audits, record supplier non-conformities, and manage final accounts.

With 140+ year trading experience and a strong project delivery culture, we are proud to have built lasting relationships with some of the UK’s most respected companies in all areas of industry and construction.**Summary of Role**You will deliver Fire Sprinkler projects on time, to budget and in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.**What you will be doing*** Leading project Initiation/handover meetings with all stakeholders including Sales, Design, QS.* Production and maintenance of project programme.* Communication with clients throughout the life of a project.* Maintenance of central project file records.* Attendance at internal project Cost To Complete (CTC) meetings.* Completion and submission to relevant stakeholders of all end-of-project documentation e.g. O&M, As-Fitted Drawings, Certification.* Ensuring installers are adequately briefed, are competent & qualified to fulfill all project requirements.* Raising PORs using authorised Tier 1 suppliers.* Supporting and managing of on-site resources ensuring all issues are resolved and the programme maintained.* Participating with internal & third party audits.* Identifying, recording & ensuring the resolution of any supplier generated non-conformities.* Consulting with subject matter experts where required.* Management of material and labour costs.* Identification and invoicing of variations to contract.* Raising of final accounts.* Undertaking & recording on-site inspections in accordance with EHS001 scheduled frequency.* Facilitating on-site toolbox talks.* Completion of all H&S related documentation Inc. RAMs, attendance sheets etc.**What we will need from you (all essential)*** Working knowledge of BS EN 12845 & LPS1048 Schemes.* Working knowledge of engineering drawings.* LPCB Testing & Commissioning Module 2 Competent.* LPCB Site Inspection Module 1 Competent.* Familiarity with the principles of Prince 2 project management methodologies.* Experience in managing complex, large budget projects in the construction industry.* Practiced at management of on-site labour & resources.* Valid SMSTS & CSCS Card Holder.* Knowledge of CDM Management Principles.* Extensive knowledge of production of project documentation eg.
