Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Project/Senior Project Manager to join our Enhancements team, delivering multi-million pound rail infrastructure projects in the UK. You will manage design and delivery resources, lead bid activities, and ensure projects are completed on time, to budget, and with a focus on safety.

You will build strong relationships with Alliance partners, suppliers and clients, and travel to client offices as required to support project delivery and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing complex multidisciplinary design projects across GRIP/PACE stages.
• Strong communication, teamwork, negotiation, conflict management and leadership skills.
• Significant experience in management of multi-disciplinary Railway Engineering Design.

Job description

• We are looking to recruit a Project/Senior Project Manager to join our Enhancements team, helping secure and to deliver £ multi-Million rail infrastructure projects and programmes of works across the portfolio
• The role is to manage our experienced design and delivery organisations, located in the UK. Managing key projects and client accounts to ensure AtkinsRéalis are the first choice for our clients
• Travel can be expected within the role to be present in AtkinsRéalis, project and client offices depending on project requirements
• Deliver major multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects, delivering on time and to budget
• Lead the win work process in bid management and securing future opportunities and growth
• To ensure Safety is maintained and promoted along with promoting the highest standards of safety at site
• To establish & build relationships with Alliance partners, key suppliers, contractors & internal stakeholders
• Managing supply chain and sub-contracts with confidence
• Overseeing a range of projects, managing multiple demands and stakeholders at a given time

Experience of managing complex multidisciplinary design projects working within multidisciplinary teams across a wide array of GRIP/PACE stagesGood communication, teamwork, negotiation, conflict management and leadership skillsSignificant experience in the management of Multi-disciplinary Railway Engineering DesignStrong client and industry connections to harness future opportunities and growthAble to establish and build relationships with suppliers, client/contractors and internal stakeholdersQualifications and membership to the Association for Project Management or relevant Engineering body
