JRL Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead Birmingham-based projects from site initiation through completion. The role demands precise cost estimation, rigorous scheduling, and strict adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Candidates should bring proven track records on RC/steel/piling schemes, strong communication, and a readiness to grow with the company as it expands on larger national projects.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card & SMSTS (1st is advantageous)
• Proven track record delivering complex RC / Steel / Piling projects
• Qualified by experience (trade background) or construction related degree
• Excellent communicator
• Experience on sub & superstructures packages, concrete / RC frame structures & basements
• Strong man management skills
• Ambitious and hungry for growth within the business

Responsibilities

• Manage the project in a detailed manner to schedule deliverables and accurately estimate costs
• Prepare and negotiate project agreements with clear scope and contractual limits
• Obtain permits and licenses; ensure safety and environmental standards are met
• Oversee on-site work to align with the construction programme, budget and schedule
• Run site team effectively and stay highly organized
• Develop and adhere to health & safety documentation and method statements
• Lead project reporting, cost monitoring and highlight exceptions
• Act as Temporary Works Coordinator coordinating temporary works designs and permits

Project Manager

Location: Birmingham city centre

Due to continued growth in Birmingham, we are recruiting a Project Manager.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Manage the project in a highly detailed manner to schedule deliverables and accurately estimate costs.
• Prepare and negotiate the terms of all project agreements and ensure all parties understand both the scope and limitations of the contract.
• Obtain all project-related permits and licenses; ensure all safety and environmental requirements are met to an extremely high standard.
• Oversee all aspects of on-site work, ensuring that it is following the construction programme, as well as being on budget and on time.
• Ability to effectively run a site team & ensure you are highly organized.
• Develop, produce and adhere to health and safety documentation and project method statements.
• Project reporting, monitoring costs and highlighting exceptions.
• Carry out the role of Temporary Works Coordinator, coordinating temporary works designs and issuing permits.

Requirements:
