Job Description:

The Product Compliance Project Manager role is an exciting opportunity to join our Advanced Technology Business Line, dealing with single and multi-test discipline projects spanning various industry sectors. You will be responsible for managing client and business expectations during test and certification projects to ensure they meet contractual deliverables, timescales, and budget constraints. Our ability to listen to customers, identify their requirements, and respond quickly with technical and commercial solutions sets us apart from competitors. This role suits a candidate who is well-organized, works well in a team, and has a strong customer focus.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Act as the principal intermediary between the client and operating areas for both single discipline and integrated projects.
  2. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, maintaining profit margins and resolving issues affecting profitability.
  3. Manage client expectations and provide detailed project plans to track progress.
  4. Coordinate with test supervisors to ensure timely delivery of test samples and documentation, facilitating smooth workflow and problem solving.
  5. Manage projects to ensure accurate delivery of contractual deliverables, enabling prompt invoicing.
  6. Maintain accurate and current project forecasts using the business project management tool.
  7. Ensure proper and compliant use of business tools.
  8. Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for effective scheduling.
  9. Organize subcontract testing and equipment hire as needed.
Essential Criteria – the successful candidate will have/be:
  • Recent project management experience in a technical or engineering industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize based on client and business needs.
  • A consistent track record of delivering results, planning for contingencies, and seeking improvements.
  • Good understanding of customer needs and perspectives, with a focus on enhancing customer experience.
  • Ability to balance technical judgment with commercial awareness.
  • Proficiency in business tools and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Desirable Criteria:
  • Knowledge of Testing, Inspection, and Certification industries.

  • Experience working with international customers.
