BNY is seeking a Project Manager – Payments API Onboarding for our Global Payment and Trade Clients team based in Manchester. You will lead end-to-end API onboarding projects, create detailed plans, and coordinate across product, technology, and operations to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end API onboarding projects from intake through go-live.
• Create and manage project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with Product, Technology, Operations and Relationship Managers.
• Ensure testing, production validation and governance requirements are completed.

This role is in Manchester In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Manage end-to-end API onboarding projects from intake through testing and production go-live
• Create and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery
• Act as the main point of contact for clients during onboarding and coordinate across Product, Technology, Operations, and Relationship Managers
• Coordinate API testing, production validation, and early go-live support while ensuring all onboarding steps, approvals, and governance requirements are completed

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• A number of years project management experience in financial services
• Experience with payments or API onboarding
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects
• Experience with APIs or digital products, Agile or Scrum methodologies, or PMP or similar certification is preferred
