About the Company Our client is a trusted leader in the fire and security industry, based in the London Borough of Bexley. With a reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative fire protection solutions, they work across multiple sectors to ensure safety and compliance. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a driven and experienced Project Manager to join their growing team.

Role Overview This is a key role within the organisation, responsible for the successful delivery of projects within the passive fire protection sector. You will oversee projects from planning through to completion, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards. This position requires a confident leader with a strong background in fire protection, excellent organisational skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage multiple passive fire protection projects from inception to handover.
2. Build and develop high-performing project teams, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
3. Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and excellent service throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Ensure full compliance with fire safety regulations, standards, and quality assurance requirements.
5. Manage risks proactively, identifying and addressing potential project challenges.
6. Monitor progress and produce regular reports on project timelines, financial performance, and deliverables.
7. Coordinate effectively with internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers.

Requirements Essential:

1. Proven experience delivering projects within the passive fire protection industry.
2. Strong knowledge of passive fire systems and current fire safety regulations.
3. Previous experience in a Project Manager or Contracts Manager role within fire safety or construction.
4. Excellent team leadership, communication, and client liaison skills.
5. Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
6. Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

1. Formal qualifications in fire safety, construction, or project management (e.g., FIRAS, SMSTS, NVQ, Prince2).
2. Experience managing large-scale or complex fire protection projects.
3. Familiarity with fire compliance documentation and inspections.
