Job summary

Nicholas Associates is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a commercial project in Birmingham. The role involves coordinating project teams, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring delivery to the highest standards.

Our client is well-established, specialist contractor that specialises in all aspects of groundworks and reinforced concrete sub-structures and super-structures.

About the Role

Project Manager required to oversee the successful delivery of a commercial project in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project teams, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring the projects is delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating project teams, subcontractors, and consultants
• Monitoring project schedules, budgets, and overall performance
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Liaising with clients and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Managing project risks, variations, and reporting on progress
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Project Manager within the construction industry
• Ability to demonstrate having previously worked on groundworks and RC frame structures
• Proficient in using Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project, and standard reporting systems
• Strong understanding of construction project delivery and management process
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and project teams
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
