Job summary

Nicholas Associates is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a civil engineering package on a school project near Manchester. You will lead from mobilisation to completion, coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers while managing programme, budgets and commercial performance.

The role requires a strong background in civil or infrastructure projects, with emphasis on stakeholder management and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven project management experience in civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Experience on a school or similar project is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of programme, cost and commercial management.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Good client and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with JCT contracts would be advantageous.
• Relevant industry qualification such as HNC/HND, degree, CIOB or ICE membership is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Previous experience working on a school or similar is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of programme, cost and commercial management.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Good client and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with JCT contracts would be advantageous.
• Relevant industry qualification such as HNC/HND, degree, CIOB or ICE membership is desirable.
