Job summary

INDMAN is seeking an experienced Project Manager with an engineering background to lead high-profile construction and infrastructure projects. The role involves managing projects from planning to completion, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring budgets and timelines are met.

You will travel across the British Isles, primarily near the North Midlands - M62 Corridor (Manchester, Bolton, Preston, Leeds). A UK driving licence and strong PM skills are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to high quality standards.
• Manage projects from planning through to completion.

• Manage contracts, variations, risks and commercial activities.
• Ensure Health & Safety standards are met on every project.
• Occasional site visits across the North Midlands/M62 Corridor (Manchester/Bolton/Preston/Leeds).

What you'll be doing

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Your duties will include:

• Managing projects from planning through to completion.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Managing project budgets, costs and profitability.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and project resources.
• Managing contracts, variations, risks and commercial activities.
• Ensuring Health & Safety standards are met throughout every project.
• Necessary visits around the British Isles, mainly closer to the North Midlands- M62 Corridor area (Manchester/Bolton/Preston/Leeds)

What we're looking for

The successful Project Manager will have:

• Engineering experience within the construction or infrastructure sector (essential).
• Strong project management experience delivering multiple projects.
• Excellent commercial and client management skills.
• Must have more than 3 years experience
• A full UK Driving Licence.
• The ability to work independently and make informed decisions.

Preferred experience

• Knowledge of street and highways works, including permits, utilities and relevant legislation.
• Experience with street furniture, signage, architectural metalwork or similar installation projects.
• Understanding of NEC and JCT contracts.
• CSCS Card, SMSTS, IOSH or NRSWA Supervisor qualification (advantageous).
• Experience of highways and traffic management works.
