Role description:

We are recruiting a Project Manager for Education projects across Northern England. The role involves project management and contract administration, with ownership of projects from inception to completion and handover.

Role accountabilities:

The Project Manager will own a set of projects, responsible for progressing them in line with the development programme. Responsibilities include:

• Leading feasibility studies
• Engaging and managing contractors through pre-contract to award
• Monitoring works for compliance with standards (supported by Clerk of Works)
• Ensuring contractor quality
• Certifying works as compliant and complete

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in education construction projects is desirable
• Experience in other public sector construction projects is essential if no education experience
• Experience in a consultancy environment is desirable
• MAPM or equivalent qualification
