Role description:

We are recruiting a Project Manager for Education projects across Northern England. The role involves project management and contract administration, with ownership of projects from inception to completion and handover.

Role accountabilities:

The Project Manager will own a batch of projects, responsible for advancing them according to the development program. Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading and producing feasibility studies
  2. Managing contractors through pre-contract competition to contract award
  3. Overseeing and monitoring works for compliance with standards (supported by Clerk of Works)
  4. Ensuring contractor quality and accountability
  5. Certifying works for compliance and completion
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Experience in education construction projects is desirable
  • Experience in other public sector construction projects is essential if no education experience
  • Experience in a consultancy environment is desirable
  • MAPM or equivalent qualification
