Job description

• Accountable for leading the delivery of project(s), programme or portfolio that are large, complex and represent significant benefit / risk to our customers. The delivery will be highly visible and recognisable.
• Manages project risk for BT and customers with an ability to use and adapt recognized project management methods and processes depending on elements of the risk profile and governance needs.
• Ensures the PMO and resourcing functions have clear line of sight of upcoming demand and contract requirements.
• Acts as a customer champion by establishing customer needs, using operational and technical expertise to deliver excellent experiences through resolving customer issues and ensuring delivery quality and timeliness.
• Understands the customer business context and the impacts of the programme on successful business outcomes.
• Collaborates with Practice and Hub Managers, and the Client Services team to ensure consistent delivery to customers.

Skills You'll Need

• Experience delivering a broad range of IT and network technology across various industry sectors.
• Experience managing projects with budgets ranging from £1 million to £20 million, including professional services resources, hardware, etc.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering technical solutions to customers.
• Commercially and financially savvy, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve profit or generate new business.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of working with multiple internal and external partners.
• Negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to connect with customers and understand their business challenges.
• Ability to interpret Commercial Contracts and identify risks and opportunities.
