83zero Ltd in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a busy project team within a large engineering and manufacturing environment. The role focuses on delivering a portfolio of projects on time and within budget, across multiple business areas.

Responsibilities include planning, reporting to senior stakeholders, and ensuring quality standards are met. This onsite 12-month contract offers exposure to diverse projects and stakeholders, with potential to mentor others.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' project management experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Project is essential and Excel skills are required.
• Experience in engineering/manufacturing or similar environments preferred.
• Degree or PM qualification desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing and monitoring a portfolio of projects.
• Developing and maintaining project schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Tracking progress, risks, issues and actions.
• Managing budgets, costs and resources.
• Producing regular reports for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive delivery.
• Maintaining risk registers, action logs and scope change records.
• Facilitating project meetings and planning sessions.
• Identifying issues and recommending solutions.
• Mentoring project leaders as required.
• Producing project-related financial and performance reports.
