Project Manager (MEP) - Cambridge - Up to £65k DOE plus benefits

This leading provider of innovative power generation solutions is seeking a Project Manager to be based at their prestigious client sites in the Huntingdon area. The role involves travel to offices and sites in the London/Southeast of England. You will play an integral role in leading projects involving designing, installing, and commissioning world-class power systems from inception to completion.

Salary: Up to £65k DOE plus benefits

Location: Cambridge, with travel required to offices and sites in the London/Southeast of England

Project Manager Responsibilities:

1. Take responsibility for the planning, execution, and closing of projects, ensuring strategic success.
2. Manage project life cycles, team competencies, support top management, and address organizational and external issues.
3. Oversee strategy, people, processes, schedules, resources, and budgets.
4. Manage risks, tools, standards, and procedures.
5. Ensure the successful delivery of projects within allocated costs.
6. Monitor contractor H&S requirements, maintenance work, compile reports, and implement corrective actions.
7. Conduct regular inspections in line with H&S audit plans.
8. Maintain effective communication with project teams, subcontractors, customers, and upper management.

The successful candidate will have:

• SMSTS and CSCS Black Card
• First aid certification
• Effective project management techniques
• Experience in Project Engineering, preferably in construction or engineering environments
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
