The company

With a pedigree in delivering large-scale outdoor and public-facing events, this team specializes in mass participation and festival-style events. Operating within a well-known space, their events range from public festivals to outdoor events. Due to growth within this busy and dedicated team, they are now hiring an experienced Project Manager.

The role

This is a critical role within the team, where the Lead Project Manager will act as the lynchpin between all departments, stakeholders, and team members. The role involves bringing together processes, governance, and documentation, working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure project timelines and strategic goals are met. Responsibilities include strategic planning, risk management, and maintaining high levels of communication throughout all phases of event execution.

About you

They are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a relevant degree and understanding of project planning for large-scale events, especially those involving traffic management, security, and local authority/blue light services. Experience in strategic planning and project management of public-facing or sporting events would be a significant advantage. Knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks is also desirable.
