Job summary

Expanded are seeking a Project Manager to lead delivery on a substation project in South Wales, based at Bridgend. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams and oversee programme, cost and risk controls while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires Civil Engineering background, strong leadership, and experience in large-scale infrastructure. You will drive BIM adoption and modern methods of construction within a collaborative project culture.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Track record delivering large-scale infrastructure projects £50m+.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management and delivery of a major project from construction to handover.
• Develop, manage and monitor delivery strategies, programmes, budgets and resources.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to integrate laboratory, research and support spaces.
• Oversee delivery of complex systems and critical infrastructure with a focus on safety and quality.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Monitor performance against programme, cost and quality objectives; take corrective actions.
• Foster relationships with clients, design consultants and supply chain partners.
• Lead governance activities including reporting, forecasting, risk management and change control.
• Champion BIM, digital engineering and modern methods of construction across the lifecycle.
