Job summary

Laing O\'Rourke is delivering a major life sciences facility in South Wales. Bridgend, Wales will serve as the project base for a Project Manager to lead delivery from construction through handover.

The role requires civil engineering heritage, strong leadership and proven experience on large infrastructure projects (£50m+). You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and drive modern methods of construction across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale infrastructure (£50m+) projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management.
• Temporary Works experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management and delivery of a major life sciences facility from construction through completion and handover.
• Develop, manage and monitor delivery strategies, programmes, budgets and resources.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to integrate laboratories, research and education spaces.
• Oversee delivery of serviced laboratories, MEP systems, clean rooms and infrastructure.
