Job summary

SWARCO UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver intelligent transport systems projects across Scotland. You will manage from planning through to successful completion, coordinating customers, internal teams, suppliers and contractors.

The role requires organisation, commercial awareness and the ability to handle multiple stakeholders and priorities, with travel across the region and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing projects through full lifecycle.
• Experience in infrastructure or engineering environments.
• Strong planning, scheduling and budgeting skills.
• Good understanding of risk and change management.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
• Coordinate resources, suppliers, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Define scope, milestones, deliverables and risks.
• Develop detailed schedules and work plans.
• Monitor progress and report to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain safety and ensure standards compliance.
• Identify opportunities for project growth and commercial performance.
• Support regional operations manager as required.
