Job summary

SSE plc is seeking an Interface Project Manager to drive the Carnaig Substation project in Scotland, coordinating interfaces across contractors and disciplines to ensure safe, on-time delivery. You will be based in Scotland with 50% office/on-site presence and contribute to a major infrastructure programme that supports the UK’s net-zero goals.

The role requires experience in complex projects, strong stakeholder management, and knowledge of CDM regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex engineering, construction, utilities or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and CDM Regulations is advantageous.
• Ability to identify and manage project risks and coordinate multiple contractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery across multiple contract and design workstreams and manage interfaces.
• Own interface management arrangements with contractors, designers and stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve interface issues to protect programme, cost, safety and quality.
• Support project risk and opportunity reporting and implement mitigation measures.
• Contribute to governance activities and support delivery of a nationally significant project.
