Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager (HV) to lead large-scale electrical infrastructure projects from planning through to delivery in the UK. Based in Glasgow, you will oversee budgets, timelines, and safety compliance while coordinating internal and external teams.

The role offers £75,000–£85,000 salary with a 25% annual bonus, profit share, progression, training, hybrid working, flexible hours, a company car/car allowance and 33 days holiday.

Are you a Project Manager from an Electrical Engineering background, looking to join an industry-leading HV specialist where you will take ownership of large-scale, technically challenging projects while significantly increasing your earnings through a generous bonus scheme?

In this role, you will oversee complex HV projects including substations, wind and solar farms, managing delivery from initial planning through to completion. You will ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget and in line with regulations, whilst coordinating internal and external teams. The role will also involve occasional site visits and technical involvement with substations, HV cabling, switchgear and associated electrical infrastructure operating at 132kV and above.
