Job Description:

Project Manager - 400kV - High Voltage (Permanent)

This is a permanent role - freelance contracts will not be considered.

The Green Recruitment Company is working with a leading global supplier of high voltage power transformers, with project experience in over 70 countries.

Due to securing significant substation contracts with National Grid, they are looking for a Project Manager to focus on project delivery in their expanding UK team. The role includes managing the tendering, transport, installation, construction, and maintenance of power transformers.

Responsibilities:

• Scope, schedule, and control the project throughout its lifecycle after taking over from the sales team.
• Lead communication with stakeholders, including subcontractors, HQ sales and commercial teams, the factory team, and customers.
• Identify issues and risks related to the project.
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers and gather their feedback.
• Manage project documents—design, quality, progress reports, and contractual deliverables.
• Support tendering activities.

Your Profile:

• Electrical Engineering degree or relevant qualification.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably with National Grid or principal contractors, specializing in power transformers.
