Project Manager - 400kV - High Voltage (Permanent)

This is a Permanent role - Freelance Contracts will not be considered

The Green Recruitment Company is working with a leading global supplier of high voltage power transformers who have project experience in over 70 countries.

Due to securing significant substation contracts with Grid, they are looking for a Project Manager who will focus on Project Delivery in their expanding UK team. The role will include project managing the tendering, transport, installation, construction, and maintenance of their power transformers.

Responsibilities:

• Scoping, scheduling, and controlling the project during the entire project life cycle after taking over from the sales team.
• Leading communication with relevant stakeholders including subcontractors, the HQ sales and commercial team, the Factory team, and customers.
• Identifying issues and risks associated with the project.
• Building and maintaining good relationships with customers and capturing their feedback.
• Controlling project documents – design, quality, progress reports, and contractual deliverables.
• Supporting tendering activities.

Your Profile:

• An Electrical Engineering degree or relevant qualification.
• Proven experience in project management within Grid or Principal Contractor organizations, preferably specializing in power transformers.
