Position: Project Manager - Fixed term

Contract Details: Full time, fixed term (6 MONTHS)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our client's project team on a fixed term contract for 6 months.

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the project until completion. It is a new build care home facility in Chester with circa £13m left to complete of a £48m total project value. You will work closely with the site team to understand the project requirements and develop effective strategies to deliver a successful outcome. This role is ideal for a dynamic and results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of managing complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
2. Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget
3. Communicate project status updates to stakeholders and senior management
4. Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals and objectives
5. Conduct weekly project meetings and provide accurate meeting minutes and action items
6. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
7. Manage project change requests and assess their impact on timelines and budgets
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Project Management, or a related field
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in a main contractor environment
3. Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion
4. Strong leadership and team management skills
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
7. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
