Job summary

4way Recruitment has partnered with a well-established fire and security systems specialist to recruit a permanent Fire and Security Project Manager for their team in East London. The role offers a £60,000 per annum salary, a company car or car allowance, and 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, with Monday to Friday hours and no weekend or on-call work.

You will lead projects from planning to completion, manage client relationships, coordinate engineers and subcontractors, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience managing fire and/or security projects, with a strong delivery track record.
• Warden call system experience essential
• Full UK driving licence
• SMSTS or IOSH qualified
• FIA accredited

Responsibilities

• Leading fire and security installation projects from planning through to completion, on time and within budget
• Building strong client relationships, understanding requirements and providing expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinating project teams, including engineers and subcontractors, for smooth day-to-day delivery
• Identifying risks early and putting mitigation plans in place to protect safety and avoid delays
• Ensuring every project meets current fire and security regulations, industry standards and company policy
• Monitoring budgets and resource allocation, adjusting as needed to protect profitability
• Overseeing quality control so completed work meets or exceeds client expectations
• Reporting progress to senior management and clients, flagging milestones and any issues promptly
• Continuously looking for ways to improve project delivery processes
