Job summary

Firecrest Construction is seeking a motivated Project Manager to oversee facade projects from design through site installation in a fast-paced, small team. You will lead multidisciplinary design and site execution, conduct site inspections, ensure safety and quality, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, detailed knowledge of facade systems, and the ability to manage stakeholders and communicate across teams. A commitment to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid SMSTS certification.
• CSCS Manager Card (Black).
• Fire Marshall.
• Working at Height.
• Manual Handling.
• UKATA Asbestos Awareness.
• First Aid at Work.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in construction site management or supervision, preferably in facade projects.
• Minimum NVQ 3 in Construction or equivalent.
• Full Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and full responsibilities of all projects of wide-ranging values and scales.
• Coordinate and lead design of cladding systems to ensure compliance, structural integrity and build ability.
• Ensure and encourage effective communications within Firecrest Construction management and site teams.
• Liaise with all stakeholders to form positive relationships and clear lines of communication.
• Uphold site standards and provide guidance and support as required.
• Mentor site teams to share knowledge and build competency.
• Prepare all site documentation and quality plans.
• Work with Viewpoint four projects to store and share all information and drawing updates.
• Prepare and report programme positions using Microsoft Project to senior team.
• Ensure all site records are completed and recorded on project files.
• Problem solve unforeseen site conditions, raise the design, and cost implications.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and raise issues of site defects, poor installation, or material discrepancies.
• Ordering, monitoring material throughout the project to meet budgets.
• Ensure all works on site are installed to design drawings and installation guidance.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure all facade installed components meet requirements.
• Ensure site Health & Safety are maintained to a high standard.
• Carry out weekly safety audits.
• Carry out weekly toolbox talks.
• Prepare and complete site hand over for the O&M and safety files on completion of each.

Managing client expectations and leading a multi-disciplinary team through the design phase to the site installation. Carrying out site inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards. The role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in fa ade systems and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
