Job summary

BELECTRIC Solar Ltd. in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale solar PV and battery storage EPC projects across the UK.

You will manage multiple projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget while coordinating with Clients, ICPs, DNOs, Subcontractors and engineers. The role emphasizes HSQE, CDM compliance and active stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of demonstratable renewable energy project delivery experience.
• Track record of managing multiple projects and delivering on time and in budget.
• Proficient IT skills; familiarity with MS Office suite. Experience with MS Project, Jira and Confluence is a plus.
• Solar and/or battery storage experience desirable.
• Driving requirement: full, valid UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of turn-key EPC projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Perform site visits for feasibility, monitor progress, and verify quality against SoW.
• Supervise site acceptance tests and commissioning activities.
• Represent Employer with Clients, ICPs, DNOs, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Manage resources including engineering team, quality managers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain HSQE standards and CDM compliance.
• Prepare tender information and specify subcontractor scope of works.
• Prepare progress reports and own project budget reporting.
• Ensure project documentation is prepared and maintained.
• Work with PMO to review, maintain and improve PM processes and tools.
• Identify and elevate risks to Head of Project Management.

Your Tasks

• Be responsible for concurrent full lifecycle turn-key EPC Projects ensuring they are delivered on time, in budget and of high quality.
• Site visits to undertake construction feasibility assessments, monitor construction progress, reviewing works against quality and contractual requirements in order to identify any deviations from SoW.
• Supervision of all Site Acceptance and Commissioning Tests.
• Represent Employer with key stakeholders, including Clients, ICP’s, DNO’s, Subcontractors, Landowner’s, OEM’s, Technical Advisors etc.
• Management of key project resources including engineering team, on site quality managers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure the highest HSQE standards are always maintained and maintain compliance with CDM regulations.
• Support the preparation of project tender information. Additionally, prepare subcontractor or suppliers’ specifications and scope of works for contracting.
• Prepare progress reports and take ownership of project budget reporting.
• Ensure that all necessary project documentation is prepared and maintained.
• Work with PMO to review, maintain and continuously improve Project Management processes and tools.
• Identify and elevate any risks to budget, programme or quality to Head of Project Management.

• Provide mentorship to Junior Project Managers and support with matters such as Contracts or financial reporting.

Our O&M service offers solar and battery storage system operators an all-in-one solution to secure and improve their systems. The BELECTRIC UK team provides O&M services for more than 25 PV power plants with a total installed capacity of more than 300 MWp throughout the country.

Battery Storage Systems

We do not only support our customers in the field of photovoltaics, but also as a general contractor in the engineering and purchasing of battery storage solutions. On the UK market, hybrid systems are becoming increasingly important.
