Job summary

Elix Sourcing Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee engineering projects from concept to completion. You will coordinate across departments, manage customers and suppliers, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of technically challenging projects.

The role involves leading lifecycle activities from sales handover to final handover, with opportunities to work on international projects and long-term career development in a growing engineering business.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management within an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience with engineering drawings, BOMs, procurement processes, and project costing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Sage Manufacturing.
• A proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong focus on delivering high-quality customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Managing engineering projects from sales handover through design, procurement, manufacture, installation, commissioning, and final handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer expectations.
• Monitoring project schedules, supplier lead times, project costs, and departmental activities while identifying risks and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
• Acting as the key point of contact for customers, suppliers, freight partners, and internal departments, supporting installation, commissioning, warranty queries, and continuous project improvements.

Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm | Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Project Manager to oversee customer orders from sales handover through design, manufacture, installation, commissioning, and final handover.

The Role

• Project Management: Managing engineering projects from sales handover through design, procurement, manufacture, installation, commissioning, and final handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer expectations.
• Planning & Coordination: Monitoring project schedules, supplier lead times, project costs, and departmental activities while identifying risks and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
• Customer & Stakeholder Management: Acting as the key point of contact for customers, suppliers, freight partners, and internal departments, supporting installation, commissioning, warranty queries, and continuous project improvements.

The Candidate

• Previous experience in Project Management within an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience working with engineering drawings, BOMs, procurement processes, and project costing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Sage Manufacturing would be advantageous.
• A proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong focus on delivering high-quality customer outcomes.
