Job summary

BRE is seeking a proactive Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of electronic testing projects. You will coordinate between laboratory teams, engineers, commercial colleagues and senior stakeholders to keep projects on track and mitigate delays.

This role focuses on visibility, reporting, and governance, ensuring accurate management information and timely decisions for a 12-month fixed-term contract. Hybrid working with a Watford office location is offered.

Qualifications

• Strong project controls experience including planning, reporting, risk management and governance.
• Experience producing management information, dashboards and performance reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Commercial awareness including budget monitoring and project performance tracking.
• APM, PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent project management qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track projects from enquiry through to completion and customer handover.
• Maintain clear oversight of project plans, milestones, deliverables and dependencies.
• Produce accurate project reports, dashboards and management updates.
• Highlight project delays, risks, issues and capacity constraints, ensuring timely escalation where necessary.
• Coordinate activity across engineers, laboratory technicians, commercial teams and other stakeholders.
• Support project forecasting, performance tracking and management reporting.
• Monitor project costs, changes and key commercial milestones.
• Ensure project activities align with quality procedures, accreditation requirements and agreed standards.
• Provide senior stakeholders with clear visibility of project status and delivery performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in project reporting and governance processes.
